ParaPlan got its start in 1999 as EnGraph. Fun fact: we sold graphing paper. Fast forward a couple of decades and we couldn't be happier to have quickly shed our paper origins for Paratransit. Today, our objectives look pretty different: help Paratransit and NEMT agencies lose the paper with innovative, simple-to-use software.
ParaPlan Software was first installed in the summer of 1999 at the American Red Cross in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They still use ParaPlan today, providing efficient volunteer transportation service to its riders.
When we created ParaPlan Mobile for iPhone & iPad in 2012, we delivered the most enjoyable mobile interface in the industry. We became leaders in digital dispatch applications by staying focused on Apple iOS, the most reliable mobile ecosystem in the world.
We're a small company and we like it that way. When you work with ParaPlan, you'll always have a straight line to Tim and Kyle via their personal cell phones. Though we've grown over the years, our team is intentionally small and exceptionally geeky about our industry.

Our Passion
Public transportation isn't something we only think about from 8-5. At ParaPlan, we live out our belief that public transportation helps communities thrive. This is why we pay for bus passes for our employees and why our CEO sits on several community boards working to advocate for more mobility options. Our passion is partnering with transit agencies to bring communities closer together with smarter transit.
